Field Trip

October 8th, 2009

Last Friday I went on a field trip to a consulting firm. I am not going to give out any names. It was a very interesting field trip. I learned a lot from it. The most important idea is a thing called Networking. Networking just means you are making connections. Making connections with people in life is great. You may need that person in life one day to help you out. A friend of yours might know someone who is great with computers. They can help you out with your computer if yours crashes. Everyone should grow their network. It will really help out one day. Another major idea I learned was “watch what you put on the internet.” Colleges and companies can see what you put on the internet. They go to facebook and can see your pictures. You may be sat to private but anyone can see anything you post. Whatever someone posts online is there forever. Just remember that.
