Trophy Winner

Friday, September 23rd, 2011

My last strategy for my football game worked really well. We won 34-0. We just had to act more excited and have more fun, because even if you lose you still gotta be able to look back and say that you had fun. It was tons of fun for me and I want to be able to play football for as long as possible. If there is something you like or want to do, you need to do it, even if you are bad. I was not the best player on the team when I first started. (I wasn’t that good). Now I start on my school’s football team. My season is almost over and I am sure going miss all of it. I am going to keep playing though. Everyone has something they want to do mine is football. I am doing mine. That’s how Nike got its saying worth millions – JUST DO IT.

Weekends

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

I have started to realize that you need to enjoy your weekends more and I have been more. I have been relaxing by going to Friday night’s high school football game and Saturday college football and going to the mall. Sunday is church, NFL football and relaxing. It is much more fun going out and doing something fun, because I have to do a lot on school weekdays. I have school and football practice, then a night game, and I will tell you the next practice is not fun when you lose. It is much more fun to win but, you probably already knew that. Today practice was cancelled because of thunder and lighting storms. I was disappointed and happy at the same time. Disappointed because practice is cool and fun. Happy because today was a slow monday. I like my coaches and all too. It’s not cool to have coaches that don’t care, but mine do.

School, work, practice, more work

Saturday, September 17th, 2011

Since we lost on Wednesday last week, our practice yesterday was not bad, it just required a lot of effort. I liked the practice set up. I started to ache, but since I am good, everyone expects so much more of what you already have. The B team won on Wednesday and I was happy for them and all but, I was a little mad because of how they just strolled on in and won. The A team has such a harder practice than the B team. And for them to stroll on in and win, then get the next practice off? Well, that made me even more mad, but you really do need to learn how to control your emotions and get on with a game with a good attitude. That is the key to winning – you just let your feelings get the best of you when you lose.

Spare Time

Thursday, September 15th, 2011

I have started to realize that as you get older spare time gets less and less. Today, I got up 5:45, got on the bus 6:55, then school from 7:30 to 2:45, and stayed at school study hall till 4:00. Then I had a football game 6:00 until 9:00. This is all at school – no going home until 9:00. But hey, I am willing to give up all my time to play the sport I love. It’s hard but, football is my thing. That’s why I talk about it so much. It all pays off on the weekend though. Today we lost and I am sure that tomorrow’s practice is going to be fine, but I am looking forward to it today. I had to reword my last blog I had to handle a loss. And if you love a sport and have any emotion you would be upset too. Yeah, dealing with a loss is hard.
